A spelling alphabet app in military service…. There were no smartphones, but a spelling alphabet app would have been the non-plus ultra! Little fun on the sidelines, but that was my first thought when I got the app sent by the developer.
Spelling Alphabet app – what can it do!?
Let us first ask the question what do you need the spelling alphabet for anyway? The question is answered simply, only in the radio area of the Bos (fire Brigade, Rescue Service, THW, RHS and much more) you sometimes reach the limits with the normal language and have to spell a word. With the simple "saying" of the letter, the receiver can sometimes not understand it or not correctly. This may even be dangerous. The spelling alphabet allows you to convey words or terms that are difficult to understand in a clean and understandable sense. Oh what would that have been for a fun on the radio….
