The Geigercounters App-Knowledge of the radiation in the environment
We have this Geiger counter app "Radiation" in use ourselves. The data is drawn directly from the measuring network of the Federal Office for Radiation Safety. It is therefore real data and not fake stuff.
How the Geiger counter app works
After take-off, a GPS location of the site will be carried out and the nearest station will be determined, as well as your whereabouts and the distance to the station. For those who can't do much with the values, there's an ad in which area the value is. This range is reported from normal to critical. In addition, the app also contains information about "typical atomic" names such as a glossary or lexicon. Stations can also be manually selected by zip code or location. All information is given in the gamma local dose performance and consists of the daily mean of the last 24h.
